These Terms of Service govern your use of the NexHood app, a product of 8Collab, Company No. 202501001970 (1603384-W) ("we", "us", "our").

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using the NexHood app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

NexHood is intended for verified property owners, tenants, family members, contractors, and authorised security or management staff of a registered property. You must provide accurate registration information and supporting documents where requested, and you must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Property registrations and residency claims are subject to verification and approval by property management or NexHood staff.
We may suspend or remove access if information provided during verification is found to be false or fraudulent.

4. Community conduct

When using community feeds, chat rooms, incident reports, or the marketplace, you agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other residents or staff.
Post false incident reports, misleading listings, or fraudulent content.
Share another resident's personal contact information without consent.
Attempt to bypass visitor QR verification, gate security workflows, or impersonate security/management staff.
Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the messages, photos, posts, and reports you submit. By posting within NexHood, you grant us a limited licence to store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the app for your property's community, security, and management workflows.

6. Marketplace, vendors & rewards

NexHood connects residents with nearby vendors, service providers, and voucher offers as a directory and community-recommendation feature. We do not guarantee the quality, pricing, or availability of third-party services listed, and any transaction you enter with a vendor is solely between you and that vendor.

7. Visitor, QR & security features

Visitor QR passes, gate-access logs, and parcel records are provided to support your property's operational security. NexHood is a coordination tool for these workflows and does not replace your property's own physical security measures, staff judgement, or emergency procedures. SOS/emergency features are a communication aid and not a substitute for contacting local emergency services directly in a genuine emergency.

8. Suspension & termination

You may stop using NexHood and request account deletion at any time (see our Account & Data Deletion FAQ). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse verification processes, or pose a risk to other residents.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

NexHood is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful content submitted by other users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NexHood, its team, and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app, including disputes with neighbours, vendors, contractors, or property management, and including reliance on any incident report, visitor record, or SOS/emergency feature, except where such liability cannot be excluded or limited by law. Where liability cannot be fully excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NexHood and its team from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the app, your violation of these terms, or content you submit that infringes the rights of, or causes harm to, another person.

11. General

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NexHood regarding use of the app, superseding any prior agreements on this subject.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
