Getting started
Download the app, create an account with your email, then register as an owner or tenant with your property and unit details. Our team (or your property management) reviews and verifies your residency before you get full access to your property's community.
Typically a tenancy agreement, sale & purchase agreement, or utility bill showing your name and unit address. Accepted documents can vary slightly by property — the app will guide you through what's required during registration.
You can propose a new property directly from the app's home screen. Our team will reach out to help onboard your management office or resident committee.
Visitors & security
Create a visitor pass from the app with your guest's details and a validity window. A time-bound QR code is generated that your guest presents at the gate — guards scan it to log entry and exit, and passes can be revoked at any time.
Yes. For long-term contractors, owners can issue dedicated contractor credentials directly from the visitor pass screen, giving them scoped access without sharing an owner's account.
SOS alerts notify your property's security and management contacts within the app. It's a coordination tool, not a replacement for calling local emergency services directly in a genuine emergency.
Community & marketplace
No. NexHood chat and community features work without exposing your phone number to other residents — only your display name and profile photo are visible within your property.
Vendors are surfaced through community recommendations and ratings from verified residents near your property. NexHood provides the directory and reviews; any service arrangement is between you and the vendor directly.
Account & privacy
NexHood is free for residents to download and use for community, chat, visitor, and security features. Some marketplace vendor offers or premium property services may have their own pricing, shown clearly before you engage with them.
You can request full deletion of your NexHood account and personal data at any time:
- Open the NexHood app and go to Me → Settings.
- If an in-app "Delete Account" option is available, follow the on-screen confirmation steps.
- If you don't see this option yet, email support@nexhood.com from your registered email address with the subject line "Delete my account", including your property/unit name so we can verify your identity.
- We will confirm your request and process the deletion of your account and associated personal data, excluding records we're required to retain for security audit or legal purposes (e.g. gate-access logs tied to an active property, for a limited period).
Deletion requests are typically processed within a few business days. See our Privacy Policy for more on data retention.
Your profile and personal information are removed. Content that's shared with the wider community (like an incident report or chat message) may be retained in an anonymised form to preserve context for other residents, unless you request otherwise.
NexHood is built for iOS and Android. Availability may vary by region while we onboard new neighbourhoods — join the waitlist on our homepage to be notified when it launches near you.
